A New Approach

Document Genetics is the document management division of the IT consultancy company Extra Resource Ltd, which was founded by an IT manager who was disillusioned with the products and services many IT companies were providing.

Dave Horswill (founder of Extra Resource Ltd): "It never ceased to amaze me how much was promised and how little was actually delivered, so I decided I could do better! We've always kept sight of this original aim and go the extra half mile to deliver what we promised at the start of the project"

Document Management Toolkit

Document Genetics have a toolkit of document management products, which can be used in isolation, or in their entirety, to address document related issues within an organisation. Unlike many other companies, we don't brand this tool kit of products and services under an all encompassing umbrella, charge a premium and hide the true identity of the component parts; we prefer to take industry standard technology (at the right cost) and make it work reliably and efficiently.

Key strategic products within the Document Genetics portfolio include:

UK distributor of  Formate output management software, Email2Invoice and PrintPolice software
Authorised  integrator of Captaris Alchemy document management software
Kofax partner for the Kofax range of document capture and image enhancement products
Software partner for Zetafax network fax software
Authorised reseller of Kodak scanners and document imaging products
Lexmark printer partner – we can supply their full range of printers and Document Distributor software
Ability to supply / support a range of Fujitsu, Kodak and Canon scanners
