What Does Formate Do?
Formate takes data from a host system, perhaps as a print file (or XML, CSV, ASCII text) and transforms it into the document you want to send and delivers it by the most appropriate method. For example, an invoice my contain marketing information depending on the recipient (e.g. special offers relevant to certain types of customer), then depending on the customer it will be printed, faxed, or emailed. The emailed document can be delivered in any number of formats, PDF, Word, Excel, XML, Tif, CSV or Text.

Formate software site license
Formate's unique site license means you buy the product once for a specific geographical site. No complex license based on printer queues, processor sizes, users etc.
How does Formate grab data from the host?
Formate software runs on an NT or 2000/3 MS Windows platform and continually monitors a user definable watch folder(s), POP/3 Mailboxe(s), or virtual printer(s). Users simply direct spool queue output at the designated watch folder or virtual printer and Formate automatically recognizes the print file and processes accordingly. Formate can also accept data from virtually any system on the network for example UNIX, NT or IBM AS/400 or mainframe
