document workflow. Paper documents can be transformed into digital format (PDF, TIFF, DOC etc.) and used to improve upon your document workflow processes. Document Distributor allows the user to create a script which contains a list of actions to perform with a document, its then given a name, saved to the document server and then sent to any number of Lexmark multifunction devices on the network all at the touch of a button. The user selects the script from the MFP panel and the document is sent to the server where the actions specified in the script are carried out for that particular document. Repetitive and complex document handling tasks are reduced to a single command for maximum productivity.

With the Document Distributor the level of integration is vast. External fax server (SMTP) support, email using standard SMTP or even Lotus Notes or a Microsoft Exchange addressing. Archive using FTP or directly into Notes databases or Exchange folders. Integrate files in multiple format types (TIFF, PDF, HTML, RTF, Word) for complete document integration and streamlined automation of your business document workflow processes. With the EDMS CD you can also have the option to integrate LDD into already planned other advanced documents distribution systems such as Alchemy, Kofax, Microsoft SharePoint portal, Lotus Domino Docs.
