Indicius- Bringing Intelligent Automation to Information Capture
Many businesses rely on information from paper documents, so the ability to extract that information into an automated business process brings the promise of driving business faster. Approximately 80% of the information used by an organization is in unstructured documents such as correspondence, but until recently automatic processing was limited to documents with a fixed structure, such as forms. (patch code) sheets and manually classifying the documents prior to data extraction.
INDICIUS automatically extracts handwritten and printed data from scanned document images, removing
the need for costly and time-consuming manual keying. INDICIUS can use the extracted data to classify, separate, and route the document to a work flow queue, to index the document for storage in a document management system, or to initiate a business process or transaction.
An organization can use INDICIUS to process both fixed and freeform documents including application forms, claims, correspondence, reports and virtually any other document type. |
