How does PrintPolice Work?
PrintPolice software is installed on your existing MS Windows Print Server(s) and automatically monitors any printers installed.
PrintPolice automatically turns the print output into a PDF document and saves the details of the print job to an audit file. The user collects their hard copy print from their chosen printer as normal. PrintPolice contains its own PDF conversion engine, so no extra licenses are required.
The audit file can be customised for specific requirements - here's a simple example in CSV format:
How do you find an archived print job?
PrintPolice software provides a Search Portal (which reads the audit file) which allows an administrator to Search, View and Reprint old print jobs.
Can PrintPolice support any type of printer output?
Yes, 99% of the common print drivers are supported – PCL, Postscript and Windows EMF.
Is it quick to install?
Yes, PrintPolice can be installed in ½ a day
Can I link PrintPolice to my existing Content / Document Management System?
