Major New infoRouter Release 8.6xx

As part of the ongoing continuous development of infoRouter, a major new release '8.6.xx' is now available!
New features
- Advanced Searches can now be tied to user groups;
- Anonymous Access can be shut-off, meaning that nothing of the infoRouter portal is available until after login;
- New updated design.
To support some of these features, and further developments to come, please be aware of some important changes regarding Licence Keys, MySQL database platforms and 32-bit server platforms:
Firstly, is the issue of new Licence Keys:
- Any existing customer who wishes to upgrade to this new version will need a new key from us before attempting the Live Update.
- If a new key has been issued from us because of a maintenance renewal since the beginning of 2018, then all is good to go.
- Any maintenance renews in the coming days will be issued a new key.
Secondly, a Very Important note regarding MySQL database platform users.
- We made a change that requires the removal of a parameter in the my.ini settings.
- If you have any customers using the MySQL platform as their database, a small modification is required before the upgrade can be completed. https://support.inforouter.com/kb80/irv80.article.148.aspx
Lastly, infoRouter Version 8.6 only runs on 64-bit environments
- In the off chance that you may still be running infoRouter on a 32-bit platform, you will need to migrate to one of the supported 64-bit platforms before you can upgrade to version 8.6.
