Document Genetics 2013 User Group is a BIG success
Friday 15th November 2013
The Document Genetics User Group took place at Sedgebrook Hall on Tuesday 12th November. We were delighted to see a really good turnout from customers throughout the UK. The day focused on our range of business automation software and gave the opportunity for customers to share their experiences, provide feedback and ask questions.
For those not in attendance, the agenda was as follows:
The event kicked off with an interactive presentation from Joe Hyde (DG Sales - Marketing Director) followed by Steve Ponting from ABBYY UK demonstrating how ABBYY FlexiCapture’s advanced OCR software can streamline Supplier Invoice Processing.
After a short coffee break, it was over to Ed Quackenbush from Active Innovations (who had travelled all the way from New York!) to provide an overview of infoRouter software and an insight into their future development plans. Following on, Jez Hobbs (DG Technical Consultant) gave a short talk on the latest enhancements to version 8.3 of infoRouter.
Geoff Chandler (DG Channel Manager) kicked off the next session with a presentation on our new secure document delivery solution, ParetoPost. This was followed by a customer case study presented by Europa Components - Gail Spraggonqiunn and Andrew Jagessar explained how Europa Components have successfully implemented ParetoPost to streamline the delivery and payment of invoices.
The afternoon session was devoted to an overview of our new output management software, Formate eVo. This proved an interesting and interactive session with existing Formate users asking lots of questions and many volunteering for the beta test program next year.

In addition to the presentations, time was also scheduled for questions, discussions and networking. The event proved a great success, not only in terms of the core presentations but also provided the chance for customers to discuss their experiences and swap useful ideas.
A special mention goes to Dave Bloomfield at Jersey Water and Michael Todd at Glenn Dimplex (Dublin based) who were awarded a bottle of wine each for travelling the furthest on the day. Congratulations also goes to Marc de Labauve d'Arifat from Europa Components who won a Kindle Fire HD, our prize draw item.
Document Genetics would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all attendees for taking the time, energy and expense associated in attending – the day provided valuable feedback and direction to our efforts.
Some of the positive feedback we received on the day:
“As always a very informative and enjoyable day. It was nice that while chatting with other users, I found that they hold you in the same high regard that we at Betterware and me personally, always have. If our others suppliers were even half as good as you guys, my life would be much happier!” Betterware UK Ltd
“I appreciate the effort and time that must have gone into organising the event and would like to thank you and your colleagues again for your hospitality.” GE Energy
“I really enjoyed the presentations and ideas that came out of the meeting.” Impact Handling
“Please pass on my thanks to everyone involved in the event. It was very interesting, well run and unlike most events nowadays, remained on time!” Tree of Life
“The presentations were all interesting and the hospitality and catering was excellent.” Europa Components
“I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to you again for inviting me to the User Group and also for the hospitality extended by you and the team. I thoroughly enjoyed the day and the presentations.” Jersey Water
