Vodafone Malta introduced its secure free e-billing service in June 2008, allowing customers to access their bills online and providing them with the opportunity to do away with the traditional posted bill. Customers can log in at any time and view not only their current bill but also previous bills online.

E-billing plays an important role in Vodafone Group’s social responsibility and sustainability plan and is part of the organisation’s initiative to reduce its carbon footprint worldwide by 50 per cent by 2020.

Vodafone Malta now has over 41,000 unique customers signed up for secure e-billing. Considering that a one-page invoice leaves a 100-gram carbon footprint, these results are extremely positive.
