Paperless Office
The paperless office. Everyone wishes it existed in their company; it has fantastic potential to save money and space, provide faster access to documents and improve customer service!
We’ve heard talk of the paperless office for years but we never seem to get any closer. Part of the reason for this is that, although we print less (as a % of the total documents) we share more information, which in turn leads to a greater volume of paper being printed. On the basis that the volume of printed documents is rising, we need to implement a strategy to stem this increase.
One way to do this is to use infoRouter as a mechanism for storing electronically all the documents in your business processes. For example rather than printing 3 copies of every invoice, one for the customer, one for accounts and one for administration; print one copy for the customer (better still email this copy), and store one copy electronically which accounts and administration can share.
